Samsung used its Galaxy Unpacked event in London to unveil its smart glasses for the first time. The device, currently called Intelligent Eyewear , is part of a new strategy to bring artificial intelligence beyond phones, watches, and computers. Technological design with a conventional appearance

Gemini will be the brain of the device
The most important element will be the integration of Gemini , Google's artificial intelligence. With it, users will be able to ask questions, receive information about what they see, make calls, listen to audio, and perform tasks connected to services within the Galaxy ecosystem.
The glasses incorporate front-facing cameras and speakers in their temples. This would allow artificial intelligence to analyze the environment and respond using visual information, in addition to functioning as a communication and entertainment device.
Samsung is also looking to connect the glasses with its foldable phones, watches, and other devices. The company presented this idea as an experience in which artificial intelligence accompanies the user and can better understand the context of their daily activities.
Battery lasts almost all day
According to information presented at the event, the glasses will offer up to nine hours of battery life per charge . They will also include a charging case capable of fully recharging them up to seven times and will use a Snapdragon AR1 processor. Their release is planned for fall 2026, although Samsung has not yet officially confirmed the price.
A new battle for the future of technology
